ATLANTA(AP) Mario West blew a dunk. Speedy Claxton threw up an airball on a free throw. And Miami missed five shots on a decisive possession. This playoff preview looked more like a preseason game. Flip Murray scored 17 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks reserves past the Miami Heat scrubs 81-79 Tuesday night in a game that shed little light on their upcoming playoff series. With both teams locked into their seedings – they’ll play Game 1 in Atlanta this weekend – there was little incentive for either to give significant minutes to top players. They didn’t. Miami star Dwyane Wade, coming off a career-best 55 points against the New York Knicks, wasn’t in uniform. Neither were Jermaine O’Neal or Udonis Haslem, the latter recovering from a deep cut on his right thumb. Michael Beasley led the Heat with 23 points and 13 rebounds in only 24 minutes. The Hawks rested Maurice Evans and Zaza Pachulia, and kept their starters on the bench much of the night. Speedy Claxton, a $25 million free-agent bust, actually played for the first time in more than two years. “I was glad to see the guys who didn’t get much playing time during the season,” said Josh Smith, who played about 12 minutes. “They were able to showcase their talents.” Neither team had any starters on the court with the game on the line in the final minute. The Heat kept clanking shots but kept getting offensive rebounds before the Hawks finally gained possession after Miami’s fifth miss of the possession. Wade was …

The 1967 NBA Playoffs was the postseason tournament of the National Basketball Association’s 1966-1967 season. The tournament concluded with the Eastern Conference champion Philadelphia 76ers defeating the Western Conference champion San Francisco Warriors, four games to two in the NBA Finals. It was the 76ers’ second NBA championship in franchise history; their first title had come in 1955 as the Syracuse Nationals. The Boston Celtics were denied the chance to win their ninth consecutive championship, though they would win the title in the following two seasons. The expansion Chicago Bulls made the playoffs in their debut season, and the New York Knicks returned to the postseason for the first time since 1959. As of 2006, the seven-year gap between playoff appearances is the longest such gap in Knicks franchise history. The 1967 NBA playoffs marked a change in playoff format for the league; every tournament since 1955 had given the top-ranked team in each conference a first-round bye, but starting this season the NBA upped the number of playoff teams from six to eight and removed the bye privilege from the regular-season conference champion.

I had some render problems, that’s why the quality is so bad, but I’ll buy a mac in the next 2 weeks and then the render problems will have an end! However I hope you can enjoy it! LeShit James had one of the best teams in the Cleveland Cavaliers, and somehow he did not get the job done to even get past the East. I sit down for a Q/A session with some LeShit James nuthuggers to try an understand their rationale on why LeShit James is MVP material, and then I rip their pathetic opinions into shreds. LeShit James: 41.3% vs Orlando on the road Kobe Bryant: 48.6% vs Denver on the road. OVERALL: Kobe is 44.2% on the road, including a fucking horrible 5-24 shooting night in Utah, and against 3 tough teams. Not including Game 3 vs Utah, he’d average 47.6% on the road. LeShit James averaged 44.9% on the road, including road games against the injured Hawks and the beaten up Pistons. Sir Choke Alot vs King Choke Alot. Sorry Bruce, but King Choke Alot is a more consistent choker if you ask me.
